                                      This is a delicious snack or appetizer which can be made easily at home. Very easy recipe for a quick snack. 
Generally, Bread are used mostly in every home, and also it gets expired very soon. 
So, whenever there is leftover Bread, this is the best idea to make use of it, and this will be equally loved by all ages. 

This Bread balls recipe is quite simple to prepare, that any kind of your favourite filling can be stuffed in a Bread slice, cover it & make a round ball shape, coat it with breadcrumbs just for a crispy texture, and then deep fried. 
Here I made the stuffing with chicken & mayonnaise, which everyone loves the creamy taste. You can also go for potato  stuffing, mixed veg or any of your choice
                                   

                            Anyway, this is an interesting and tasty snack, even you can quickly prepare after your guest has arrived. But keep reminded these tips,
Firstly, the ideal Bread slices are white breads.
And ensure  it is shaped properly with a tight seal to block the stuffing,otherwise the stuffing may break out while deep frying.
Lastly, best to serve immediately once it's deep fried, it may turn soft and lose its shape if it is rested for a while after deep  frying.
So, let's begin with the ingredients,


Preparation time : 20 minutes
Cooking time : 20 minutes
Serves : 6 balls

Ingredients :-

  • Bread - 6 big slices ( depends on the size)
  • Boneless chicken - 250 grm
  • Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger - garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Salt  to taste
  • Soy sauce - 1 tsp (optional)
  • Onion - 1 small ( sliced)
  • Capsicum - 1 small ( chopped)
  • Mayonnaise -  1/2 cup
  • Water -  1 cup (for soaking bread)
  • Bread crumbs - for coating
  • Oil - for frying


Steps to do :-

Cut boneless chicken into small pieces, and marinate with black pepper, ginger - garlic paste, soy sauce & salt.

Heat a pan, add 2 tblsp oil then add marinated chicken and fry on medium flame until chicken is cooked.

Next add onion  into it, and saute well till onion becomes soft & well combined.

Turn off the flame, and let it cool down, then shred the chicken pieces. Add chopped capsicum, mayonnaise & mix well. Now  our stuffing is ready.

Remove the sides of bread, (you can take the sides for making breadcrumbs)
Take a Bread slice and gently dip both sides in water,( do not keep it soaked) and squeeze all the water by pressing with both palms.

Place 1 spoon  of stuffing in the middle of this squeezed thin Bread slice, then close from all the sides and make it  ball shape. Seal it tightly with water, that it doesn't Break out while frying. Repeat this same process with each Bread slice.

Coat each Bread balls  with breadcrumbs.

Heat oil in a  wok, and deep fry all the bread balls on medium flame until it turns golden brown . ( fry 2-3 balls at a time)

Serve it hot, and enjoy with tea or coffee.
