Paneer Tikka masala
Paneer tikka masala is an easy veg curry prepared with paneer cubes (cottage cheese). This is a north-indian curry with aromatic flavours of spices. And also this is a rich creamy paneer dish Cooked in onion, tomato - cashew based gravy, which is delicious that non-vegetarians too love this.
Normally, in paneer recipes cream is added for the creamy texture, you can also add cream in this recipe as well. But, I prefer cashew paste instead of cream, which gives an extreme taste for this recipe.
Try this recipe, and this may be one of your favourite dish... This goes well with rotis, parathas & even with jeera rice.

For marination:-
- Paneer cubes
- Capsicum - medium size ( cut into cubes)

- Red Chilly pwd - 1 tblsp
- Turmeric pwd - 1/4 tsp
- Pepper pwd - 1/2 tsp

Directions :-
Take a bowl & marinate paneer cubes, tomato, capsicum with redchilly pwd, turmeric pwd, pepper pwd, yoghurt and salt. Keep it for at least 10 mins.
Heat oil in a non-stick saucepan, add paneer marinade and shallow fry it on medium flame until it turns golden brown. Do not overcook the paneer.
Flip in between to fry equally on all sides of paneer. Once the paneer is done, take out from flame, & keep it aside.
Into the same oil add cumin seeds, roast it for few seconds, then add onions & saute it for a while.
Then add green chilly, ginger - garlic paste and saute it for 2 mins.
Next add red chilly pwd, coriander pwd, turmeric pwd, garam masala and roast all these for few seconds.
Then add tomato & salt, ( be careful while adding salt, that paneer has already marinated with salt) mix well and let it cook for 2 mins.
Then add fried paneer, mix well. Then add 1 cup of hot water , and let it boil on medium flame.
Meanwhile, grind the soaked cashew into fine paste.
When the gravy starts to boil, adjust salt & add more water if needed. Add cashew paste and mix well. Just cook for few seconds.
Finally, garnish with coriander leaf and turn off the flame. And ready to serve...
