                     Caramel custard pudding


                             

                             Caramel custard pudding is a classic dessert which fills your heart & stomach with a tasty delight. Caramel custard is very popular to everyone, but this is a  unique preparation with the taste of teacake along with caramel custard. Beside this, whipped cream is also added which gives an elegant taste and makes very creamy than a normal caramel custard pudding. 

This tempting dessert is much easy to prepare for a party. All the ingredients together gives kind of toffee taste, and best pudding to impress your guest... 
And one more good thing is that, this caramel custard pudding is egg-free, so anyone can enjoy this!! 
So, let's begin with the ingredients.... 

Preparation time : 10 minutes 
Cooking time :15 minutes 
Chilling time :3- 4 hrs

Ingredients :-

Milk -  1 ltr
Sugar - 1cup
Vanilla custard powder - 4 tblsp
Vanilla essence - 1tblsp
Teacake - as required 
Whipped cream - 2 1/2 cups
Nuts - for garnishing 

Instructions :-

  1. Take a pan, add sugar (you can use Brown sugar instead of white) and caramelise on medium flame until it turns dark shade. Meanwhile in another vessel, pour milk and keep for boiling. Take out little milk in a bowl & mix custard powder and keep it aside. 
  2. When the sugar is completely caramelised add to the hot milk. And the caramelised sugar will be formed hard. Stir continously till it melt complete in milk. 
  3. When the milk starts to boil slowly add custard mixture by stirring the milk continously. 
  4. Then add vanilla essence, let it mix well &  boil for 2 mins, until it becomes thick. Keep  stirring that it may not stick to bottom. 
  5. Turn off the flame & keep it covered till it cools at room temperature. 
  6. Then add whipped cream into it &  mix well. Do not add whipped cream when the caramel custard is hot. 
  7. Spread tea cake in a large pudding tray,then pour the caramel custard mixture on top of it, and spread evenly. Then garnish with chopped nuts, whipped cream as you desire. Let it chill for 3-4 hrs.                                                                                         Enjoy this yummilicious pudding after a main meal......
